Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. Anyone experiencing symptoms should seek medical advice.

Scientists at the University of Glasgow are launching a new study into the diseases spread by midges and mosquitoes, including the risks to people and livestock.
The research aims to improve the UK’s ability to prepare for future outbreaks, with recent cases of bluetongue virus in animals believed to have been spread by midges.
Researchers will combine laboratory work with field studies across the UK to better understand how these insects transmit disease and how the risks can be reduced.
